Concept
Of key importance is flawless packaging, a reliable and not overly complicated machine set-up and minimal investment costs.
Following over 15 years in the business working with a limited selection of new systems as well as wide ranging experience with used systems from companies including Sollas, Pester, Kallfass, Beck. BVM, Marden Edwards, Shanklin, Sitma and others, we started to manufacture our own foil wrapping machines in the Far East.
We spent several years analysing the capacity of potential manufacturing partners, and AMTEC foil wrapping systems are now made in eight separate factories, each of which specialises in making a particular machine or its accessories.
Asian factories tend to have higher production volumes in comparison to Europe, which reduces costs considerably, meaning that we can pass these savings directly onto our customers. - Several of the AMTEC systems are based on machines which have proven themselves on the market for up to twelve years, and of which up to 8,000 units of each type have already been sold. These machines have been adopted because of their basic mechanics, and are then modified and certified with regard to the materials used and security features for use in Europe and across the world. - Other systems are almost manufactured almost entirely from scratch.
AMTEC's machines distinguish themselves from their original Asian version in terms of the quality and strength of the chassis and covering, their height, the selection of electronic and mechanical components, the protective guards and the new construction of particular functional parts.
For example, Vertical packaging systems from AMTEC are offered exclusively in a stainless steel version. - Electronic parts are made by renowned manufacturers such as Siemens, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Telemecanique etc.. Cylinders are sourced from Festo, amongst others, and relays from Omron, for example.
CE certification is carried out by the German Technical Control Board (TÜV), the world's largest inspection institute, SGS Group or other qualified organisations.
The end result is an AMTEC machine which is simple to use, works reliably and is priced lower than European used machines.
